What was the biggest change you made this year?

Catarina: We started recognizing the special Education teacher more and decided to give teacher one ‘BIG’ gifts instead of many small ones.

What did you do for the special education teachers?

C: We made this decorated their door to celebrate their hard work.

What was your position last year?

C: I was the executive board secretary, woohoo!

Why do you like more about this position?

C: I get to actually have my own committee and support teamwork within them. I like fine-tuning my leadership skills and watching all of my committee members grow.

What is your favorite thing about student council?

C: I like making new friends especially with the media team because they are the BEST (aka. Tim)!!

 How long have you been on council? Why did you start?

C: I have been on council for three years. I started because I wanted a greater role in my school.

What is the thing from council you’ll remember the most?

C: I loved making new memories with the great advisors and members. I had an amazing time!

What advice do you have for new members?

C: Don’t be shy, and be open and friendly to everyone! :)
